MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY:

                   The Management Consultancy services provided by the Wing encompasses a fairly wide range of subjects connected with various aspects of Management improvement. Since its inception, the Wing has carried out about 1913 assignments on various subjects. The Wing is fully equipped to offer consultancy services in the areas like Management and Organizational Analysis, Method and System Studies, Data Processing, MIS, Financial Analysis, Operational Research, Maintenance Management, Work Study, Procurement and Supply Management, Personnel Management and Management Development etc.

                    In addition to the Management Consultancy services to the Federal Government, the Management Services Wing has also extended Secretariat and Professional assistance to the following Commissions & Committees constituted from time to time by the government for management improvement :-

·              Justice Dorab Patel Commission, 1989

·              Cabinet Committee for Restructuring of Ministries/Divisions, 1990-1991

·               Economy Commission, 1991-93

·              National Commission to suggest measures to improve the efficiency of the Federal Government (Chatta Commission), 1993-95.

·          Re-structuring of Federal Ministries/Divisions/Organizations by the caretaker Government (in pursuance of Cabinet decision), 1996.

·             Administrative Reforms Task Force (under the Chairmanship of Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission), 1997-98.

·         Commission on Administrative Re-structuring (Fakhar Imam Commission), 1997-99.
